Other Bikeriders

“Other Bikeriders” is a multimedia project exploring the rich, often misunderstood, and personal world of motorcycling. Set against the backdrop of diverse locations and communities, the people who ride, the motorcycles that carry them, and the shared bonds that unite these riders. The project features photography and a short documentary, “No Training Wheels” featuring B.J. Hessler, owner of D.C. Dirt Camp, a school for off-road riding.

This project aims to illuminate the vast diversity within the motorcycling world—beyond the clichés. In exploring this subculture, this film will invite audiences to reflect on their relationship to freedom, community, and the open road.
